I had my wisdom teeth removed today at about 12:00. It is 10:00 at night and I am in some immense pain even with the lortabs. I was so nervous! I have never had any kind of surgery, anesthesia, etc. Dr. Tony Virgin did my extraction. He really was not gentle at all. I had 4 shots of numbing meds injected into my mouth and I felt every fucking bit of it!!!!! I really thought that I was gonna raise up out of that chair by the tenseness of my muscles alone. I could feel my heart rate increasing as the Nitrous Oxide spread throughout my body. I actually teared up a bit b/c I hated the feeling of being "scared but fucked up....but being fucked up not by choice and then worried that you are going to feel every cut that you are about to endure then wanting to relax b/c the feeling of being "gased" was kinda relieving" Make sense??? LOL. I was salivating all over the place b/c of the novocaine. I felt him extract the teeth (my 2 upper wisdom teeth) however it was mainly pressure. I guess looking back on it, it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I think I would like to have a dentist that was a little less rough.
When I was getting ready to leave, I thought that they would prescribe some pain meds considering that the numbing sensation would soon wear off. NO... they told me to take MOTRIN!!! uuummm... let's back up.... you just extracted 2 large damn teeth out of my head.... I need more than THAT! So, about 3:30 when I woke up with a throbbing head, I called those people back and I told them that I had to have something NOW! So, they called in some Lortabs. They worked well, except for that tiny part of not being able to eat therefore feeling sick as a dog b/c the meds are on an empty stomach!! I was trying to eat pea soup and mashed potatoes but I could only take a few bites. I went over and laid on the bed with my head spinning again... praying not to vomit. I eventually passed out and woke up hungry.... LOL! I finished the pea soup, but that's it.
On the bright side... thank goodness for the early commercialization of Christmas b/c the stores already have Pomegranate 7up out!! My fave! I'm drinking some now with plenty of ice b/c..well... the obvious and I have VH. ;)
Halloween was a blast this year! I'm very glad that I came to Athens... and Jenny... I wished that you would have beat that bitch into a pulp! I was so angry about that! She was just dumb, not to mention at least 20 other adjectives. ;) well, I'm thinking about going to McDonalds and getting some soft serve vanilla icecream. Sounds like a plan.
Oh yeah!!! are we going to attempt to do some kind of secret santa thing this year??? just curious.

Well, I went to the doctor today to get my results......

I do infact have hypothyroidism, however it is mild and that is not what's wrong.....

I have to have other blood tests this week to confirm if I have PCO.
Which is PolyCystic Ovarian Disease. Dr. Yang also seems to think that I have insulin resistance, considering that these 2 problems coincide with one another. Well see.... I'm bummed out! The big thing about PCO is it causes problems that can lead to infertility or make it really hard to get pregnant. I'll keep everyone posted.

Ok, Tomorrow is the 1st day of Fall Semester 2009! I can't believe that I just typed that. Where the hell has time gone? It's not all depressing... but remembering all the moments of just the past 5 years alone seems like an eternity when you think of everything that has happened...then again I kind of argue with myself when I realize that a lot has been thrown my way and having a feeling of always rushing to catch up doesn't help. I started college in 2002! That, my friends, was 7 seven years ago...... my god.

Taking time off isn't something that I regret! I wouldn't have a lot of things in my life and I would have missed out on some of my dearest memories and most important people.....Walker. I want to think that things that happen for a reason. This previous statement only seems factual when things are going our way, eh? Anywho... my take on that little statement would be....."SOME things happen for a reason per our own doing...everything else is left to chance".

Bottomline..... I am finishing school! I am going to achieve my degree soon and hopefully get a great job. I'm with a great guy and I have great friends....I couldn't ask for any better of the two. :)

Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor and get my results from my endocrinologist concerning my thyroid. I had bloodwork done on Friday. I just can't lose weight, I feel sluggish, I have headaches, I'm hot ALL OF THE TIME!, I'll let you all know of the results. I also got a new phone number! It is 606-615-7585! Call me! I'm at work. Just letting you all know that I get off of work today at 2:45. Hey guys,

just letting you all know what is going on..... i am now an employee of KDMC. I started on Monday. I work in food services and I enjoy my job. I run the trays up to the rooms and get whatever the patients need. Its $10 an hour..so not horrible. I'm also still employed at Outback too, but just on a call-in/pick-up basis(no schedule). i'm off this coming tuesday and wednesday. If anyone is going to be in town... let me know.

Ok, This past week has been a little more than stressful. 1 week ago today, Walker's father had a heart attack. At first, he didn't know what was really happening, he just said that his jaw was hurting and so was his back. Walker and I were down stairs watching TV and Walker dozed off for a little while, so it was just Moe and I. All of a sudden, Glenda, Walker's mother, runs downstairs and says that she is taking him to the hospital.

At this point, Walker and I were just thinking that he was just sick or something due to the fact that he hasn't been feeling that well. Well, 30 minutes pass and I call Glenda and they are at Belfonte. Mayo's (Walker's father) blood pressure was something fucking nuts like 228/120. According to the doctors, this was stroke range. Well, Belfonte didn't rule out a heart attack!!!! They just said that they were going to give him a stress test the following morning!!! At this point, Walker is in hysterics b/c we got to the hospital right when the doctor came in said that they didn't know what was going on besides the fact that his heart enzymes were abnormal. HELLO?!?!?! That really shocked the hell out of me. At this point, his blood pressure is brought down and he is complaning about chest discomfort. So, they admit him into belfonte, a few short hours later, I guess it hit them that he had definitely had a heart attack and they had to move him to Kings Daughters b/c it was obvious to some doctor that further procedures was going to take place soon. Belfonte isn't capable of doing Heart Stints, which in the end, is was he had to have done. 4 actually. 95% of his right artery was blocked along with a few damaged spots from plaque buildup over the years.
All in all, Walker took 2 days off of work, Mayo was in the hospital for 4 days and luckily I had 3 days off in a row to be with Walker and his family. It was so sad seeing Walker have the realization that his father could have died. I'm so glad that he has a dad that loves him and is such a great person all together.

Everything is ok now. I got up early this morning and went to Easter service with Walker and his mother. Came back, and found out that I didn't have to go to work like I thought that I did was even better. I don't know if James or Jessica has told anyone, but I have been a VEGAN for a little over 2 weeks now. I'm doing it strictly for weight-loss purposes. I have already lost some and I'm so glad. I feel that I have more energy as well! However, I must say, it has been a task due to the fact that i love cheese and meat ssssooooo much! :) Well, I hope to see you all soon! Love you, all!!!

I always wear wind pants and a hoodie plus a heavy coat or a parka. They have ski pants and other equipment to use at your own discretion and there is a minimal fee for those as well. I'm just letting you know that you don't have to rent those things, Walker does...I don't. hehe. Anywho.... I hope that helps a little bit.

So,

I have a 2nd job now! I work at Walden Books in the Ashland Mall. Its only seasonal, which is fine with me b/c that's what I really wanted. :) I'm renaming this job "My Lexington Fund". Today is my 1st day of work. I work there from 10-2 and then I venture up the hill to Outback to work 3-9, yay. So, needless to say I will be quite tired, but it will be worth in the end (which is after the new year) when I am in Lexington with my boys ;)

I have been Christmas shopping here and there. I still have quite a bit left to do just b/c the remaining people are so picky or they have everything or they have enough money therefore me buying them something would seem pointless (for me anyway). LOL. So, I'll figure it out prolly with gift cards or something like that. Funny thing about gift cards (FYI) I think that it is some crazy number like 50% of gift cards never get redeemed!?!?! Now people...WTF? I can't believe that! I was quite astounded when I heard that figure, via FOX NEWS btw. Anyway, I still haven't found a gift for Walker. He informed me that he wanted a vinyl record player (hehe) and of course an XBOX 360 b/c his no longer works. So, if you think of a good gift for Walker (besides porn) let me know. :) I do however have my secret pal almost completed! That's a relief! :)

So, I purchased the book "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" a few days ago and I must say, it is a very cute book. I would compare it to a muggle's "Grimms Fairytales". You Harry Potter fans should run out and buy it! I was happy just looking at the cover alone! Very FESTIVE :)

Jessica and I have been hanging out a lot lately! Which is awesome b/c I never really get to see her or most of you all for that matter :( Anywho, as most of you all know, something that we (Jeff, Jess, James and I) do over Christmas Break is drive around aimlessly looking at Christmas lights and listening to 97.9's Christmas music. Jess and I have found a new spot to hang out at 4:00 A.M.! That my folks would be none other than the fine establishment that is known as Peddler's Homecooking in Ironton!!! LMAO! (The Peddler to the town folk) lol. Anywho, it is basically the only thing open besides Jolly Pirate and Huddle House in Flatwoods, so... it serves us well and it beats wasting more gas. Much of our conversation lately has been very nostalgic. We came to the sad but true reality that this Christmas may infact be the last Christmas that we are all able to be together for a while. Many of us are getting married, graduating and moving away. I mean, I know that we will all keep in touch, however getting older comes with sacrifices and 1 of those are friends at times :( Jess and I were joking that 1 of us should win the lottery, that way we could build this mansion and all of us friends could move in and never have to work again! hehe. That's some wishful thinking, huh?

I've been in Lexington enjoying a few days off from work. :) It's nice to get away. Anyway, I just requested off Dec. 23rd b/c that's when we do our Christmas party. Is that still on for this year? If not, it's not a huge problem b/c I can go online and change my request off. Just curious as to what is going to be going on in the next few weeks and stuff. :) I'm so excited for the Christmas season to be here. Even though I don't have a lot of money to buy and such for Christmas, I guess just being with friends and family and enjoying the season's festivities are enough reasons to be happy for me. :) Are we still getting together on Thanksgiving? Last year, it was the day after and that was fine. Just trying to get a tentative schedule :) I'm trying to get a 2nd job to save up for Christmas and to also have money after that due to the fact that Walker and I have talked it over and we are ready to live together at last!!! I'm excited! So, I guess getting a 2nd job is something else that I'm looking forward to so that I can save money :) I miss him and lil Moe-Moe too much and it truly is vice versa for him as well.

In other news, Mom has started dating again!!!!! LOL!! She has known this guy for as long as she can remember! His name is Rick Browning. They went on a date to Outback the other night (Sat) without me knowing that she was going to be there! One of my co-workers informs me that my mother is at her table and I am like...whatever, you heard wrong! LOL! sure enough, there sat my mother with this guy! haha! I was completely comfortable with it however, I must say I was at a loss of words to describe what I felt. It was a mixture of happiness, weariness, relief, and feeling grown up. I guess.... I realized how young I am NOT anymore and how getting older makes you wanna settle down with someone you love. :) I'm content with the world for minute! hehe! Talk to you guys later!

So, 4 days until Friday!!! I'm fucking excited!!! I know that the block party isn't until Saturday however, I'm off Friday and Saturday and I think that Walker and I might come up Friday night. I guess it just depends if James and Mindy can manage that. :) Today at work I was a little upset......

The bartender is in charge of making the schedules from now on and well lets just say she managed to over-fucking-look my requests off for Friday and Saturday!!! I was so pissed when I saw that schedule! I went to my manager and she said that my requests didn't show up and I was like.....WTF!!! So, I went into the office and pulled up my online schedule and had to show them the big fucking bolded and orange Rs for "Request Off" on the 31st and the 1st!! Then, my manager tried to guilt trip me into saying, "if you do not work on Saturday, then there will only be 11 servers..." TOO FUCKING BAD,BITCHES!!! I have had these plans for months and it is not my fault that someone got confused on the schedule!!! So, she told me that about the servers and I was like.... "ok...." and proceeded to cash out on the computer. hehe. I can't help it! That made me so fucking angry! Oh well...I'm still coming up guys.... I just needed to talk about bitches trying to fuck with my PLANS!!!!

Its almost 3 AM and I'm still up. Tonight was my 1st night as Headwait at work and I must admit that I enjoy the feeling of being promoted at work. I mean, I know that this is just a job and not my career, however having keys and being in the office is pretty cool!!! :) hehe! I feel all giddy!

Also, I'm doing the diet bit again... you all know that comes and goes every few months... LOL! Anywho...I was on one of my weight watchers websites and this is what I found as the #1 worst food to have while eating out! I got a kick out of it!

Happy Fall everyone!

I'm enjoying the cool weather and the changing of the trees :) It makes me want an egg nog latte already from Starbucks! :)

Work is good. I got promoted to "Headwait". Tonight was my 1st night of training. I know that I will get the jist of... its just a bunch of dumbass numbers and paperwork. However, this title means that I make people pay their shit at the end of the night.... you would be surprised how many people try to con their way out of tip share!!!! ggrr! That makes me so angry! However, it will look good on my resume and I will also get to be cut off of the floor early! YAY! I'm glad that the managers there think of me as a responsible person. I try.

I can't wait until Halloween! I wanna be Pebbles and Bam-Bam so bad with Walker! However, I don't think that he wants to do that. He's thinking about the Super-Hero theme as well. I'm up for it, too! i just wish that he would make up his mind so that I can get to work on my costume! :)

Oct. 18 & 19, Walker and I are more than likely going to Cedar Point! We are going with Kat and Mandi and their boyfriends! Which, we'll see how that works out... LOL. I have never been to Cedar Point and neither has Walker. So, in other words... ton of pics! hehe. Also, they are making the entire park "Halloween Themed".... so prolly a large haunted house and such! I bet that it will tons of fun!!

Well, My birthday is on the 10th! I'm excited! I can't believe that I will be 24. I was talking to a guy at work tonight that is 18 and he told me that he just graduated this year and I responded with, " Oh, I graduated in 2002." That comment totally slapped me in the face! I was like... total surreal moment! I breathed in deeply...and went on about my shift. I am looking forward to my Birthday though!! I will be in Lexington. I am going down there tomorrow night after work and I will be coming back on Thursday afternoon.

I have really been busting my ass at work, so I need a few days off....especially for my birthday! Work has been ok. Today was typical "bitchy Sunday" as well as G-parents day. I don't know what it is, but Sunday's are pretty much the most dreaded day by everyone in the entire restaurant. Its strange. Well, I just wanted to post about my life right now... later guys!

So, its 3:25 in the morning and I'm still up surfing the net. Work is OK. I mean...I didn't expect it to be excellent...after all...I do wait tables and a lot of times...that's stressful. Tonight was one of those nights. I pretty sure that sometimes there isn't enough that you can do for some people. I have really learned that there are some absolute shitty people who don't give a shit how they treat you. I mean, I have always known this, but working with the public in this situation really emphasizes that thought. I'm sorry if I seem redundant or random. I am tired but I did wanna post something tonight. I hope all is well with everyone. I have told Jessica, but just to let everyone know.... I have already requested off on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. I finally got a job! Which is the reason that I was unable to come to party in Athens that I had been planning on attending for a month. That sucked...I'm sorry that I could not attend guys, however I was hired at Outback on Thursday and began training as a server on Friday. :( I had to take it...I've been without a job so long, it was just nice to finally have a job offer, ya know? especially since I'll be making money everyday and being able to put it in my pocket when I leave. So, yeah....I'm a server and basically everyone there is really friendly, however most of them are huge potheads! Jessica, I saw your mom and her boyfriend (I forgot his name) yesterday (Sunday) when I was training. We just waived at each other but I was unable to go say Hi to her b/c of the "church crowd rush". Anywho, did you guys get majorly trashed in Athens? I bet that it was a blast! nobody got pulled over this time right??? LOL B/c I know that has happened to me and Jessica L. so far. :(

I think that I'm really going to like working there. It is an evening restaurant for those of you who don't know. They open at 4 m-thurs, 2 on sat. and 11:30 on Sundays. It's pretty basic and upbeat. I have to take my server/alcoholic drink test on either wed or thurs and then I'm on my own. The only thing that sucks about training is that in the Commonwealth of KY, your trainer is not required to tip you out. Also, at the end of the night, ALL servers are not required to tip out anyone (hosts/bartenders/bussers) for that matter. However, it is recommended and assumed that you will. The expected tip out is only 3% of your nightly earnings, so I don't understand why the hell wouldn't you tip out, since they (hosts/bartenders/bussers) are helping you out as well, ya know..but there are those that just don't tip out. For example, my trainer is well...5 months pregnant and kinda one of those rebellious types, though she is nice...she didn't tip me out. I have to work today at 3:45 and I will prpbably be with her again, which is fine, it would just be nice to get some earnings, ya know? I will start getting my own tips at the end of this week and can't wait! Even though I don't getting tipped out for the first couple of days, they give the trainees/ trainers free meals! They are fucking huge!! Yesterday, they gave me a plate of Cheese Fries, a bloomin' onion, salad, sirloin and a baked potato!! I didn't eat all of this of course, but damn it was good! So, there is a plus side :) Also, if I take another guest we both get 50% off, 3 guests get 33% off, 4 guests get 25% off and so forth!!!

Walker and I are just fine! Here in a few days it will be 1 year and 9 months...I'm excited!! I can't believe that I've been in a relationship for almost 2 years! However, I would not have it any other way! I'm excited for Fall to get here! The hillsides are already changing due to the unexpected mild August we have been having here. I love the fall decorations that are already out in stores, I guess it gets me excited to snow and Christmas...that sort of thing! What can I say, I'm a woman but a young girl at heart :) Well, just letting you guys know what is up! talk to everyone soon! Also, the first thing that I plan on doing is getting my phone turned back on!!! Thank God!!! I have been out of the fucking loop b/c of the obvious..low/no funds situation... but that's all slowly changing! Love you all!

Just to let you all know what is up....

I've applied to several of jobs...I have to find something!! I'm going insane...lol

I had the best time this past Saturday night at Walker's House in Flatwoods with you all!!! :) Sitting around a camp fire with Walker and myself..along with Bro, James, Patrick, Jeff and Jess was so much damn fun!!! We ended up making 2 beer runs...gotta love Coors Light. For those of you that were not in town, this was a random plan thought up by Walker. We went and ate dinner at Outback and then as we were leaving we were trying to figure out what to do other than sit on the hill...;) So, Walker decided to have a fire in back yard of his house! Cool! I was excited! (Then after running food over to the fam due to the crazy power outage that lasted 30 hours in some parts of Ironton, including mine) we met up at his house and started the fire...needless to stay... getting in the pool at 11:00 O'Clock at night was spur of the moment! The water was awesome...it was so damn muggy out, everyone was just ready to swim! We ended up drinking a shit ton of beer....playing Marco polo and truth or dare (as usual) in the pool! It was such a blast!! Gotta love Walker jumping off of the Deck naked into the pool! LOL! We ended up leaving about 1:40 A.M. Walker and I took Jess and Jeff home. We dropped Jess off first b/c she was pretty much shit faced! LOL. Then The 3 of us went to Taco Bell, Thank Jeff BTW! :) As we were dropping him off on 6th...he realized that everyone around him had power except him!!! So, Walk and I drove him to his G-Maws in Hanging Rock. :) Walker and I came back and cleaned up the 36 beer cans...lol..and just straightened up a bit! In the end.... It was soooo worth it!! I needed that so bad...just hanging with my best buds and boyfriend...oh yeah...and Moe...hehe... he swam with us for a while too!! :) We are growing up and those get-2-gethers are getting fewer and fewer.... damn getting old and becoming a real person...HAHA... well.. I love you guys! Can't wait to see everyone in Athens on the 15th and 16th of August!! :)

Ok, So....
I just got back from Chicago probably about 1 hour ago! It was a fucking blast! OMG! I needed that trip so bad! I'm in La Porte, Indiana right now. That's where Kat lives. We have been up here since Wednesday evening. They just bought a new house and it is beautiful! BUT...Chicago... EXCELLENT!!! We rode the train from La Porte to Chicago (Randolph Train Station). Between Navy Pier, the crazy ass cabbies, magnificent mile, and the absolutely awesome pizza from Giordano's.... I don't know what I loved the most!!! I have a shit ton of pics and they will be up soon! I hope that you guys had a great 4th of July! Love you all!!! :) Call me! :)

I'm not officially employed anywhere, however this week I am babysitting at my neighbor's son's house for his 2 little girls. They are so cute! I am watching the disney channel as I write this with the 5 year old. She has Jouberts Syndrome. She's not difficult at all, she just has difficulty communicating and walking. The other little girl is 16 months and is currently napping. Amber just swung by is getting me some Wendy's!! thank goodness...I'm hungry! I'm also almost positive that I'm going to Indiana on July 3rd for the 4th! I'm going up there to see Katherine. Her sister Kim is driving which is good for me since I don't have to spend all that money on gas. Our friend Angie is also going and probably Walker! I'm excited! I've never been to Chicago!!!
